You only need to do 5–6 words changes to your headline to become a killer title !

The ads of Sabri Suby had caught my attention few month ago and I clicked his link and bought his books named “ Sell Like Crazy”, I will shared one of the most “ah-ha” moment and some useful tips that I learnt from the book.

Before we get into the tips of making killer headline, let’s see how important a killer headline is. Here is one of the quote from David Ogilvy:

“On average, five times as many people read the headline as read the body copy. When you’ve written your headline, you’ve spent eighty cents out of your dollar”. — David Ogilvy

So, let’s imagine a scene, you walk into the bookstore and you wanna choose a book, which of this two books you would buy, let’s assume both of them got the same content and it’s written by the same author.

This is a book written by Naura Hayden talking about how to seduce women and make women fall in love with you.

Here is a quick question : What do you think about when you read the title ? Does it get your attention ? Does it sell you?

Naura did not do well in the book sales and she eventually took it to the flea marketers and sell the book at 99 cents. However, her book get across a New York publisher, they read it , and thought this is a great book. So they decided to help her by just changing the book title into : How to satisfy a women everytime… and have her beg for more !

So which book would grab your attention when you went into the bookstore?

Surprisingly , this book got 1.8 millions in sales in first 18 months. Compared to the old “ title” only got 2000 copies sold.

Great, if you read until here. Means I got your attention too. Have you ever wonder why? It’s because of the title too !
